Pressed flat

How to Apply & Remove

The useful details, styled with the same care as every set.

Before you start

Set aside a little time, work in a well-ventilated space, and have your tool kit open. Prep is what decides how long a set stays on.

How to apply

1. Buff

Lightly buff the natural nail to remove shine.

2. Cleanse

Wipe each nail with the alcohol prep pad. Let nails dry completely before glue.

3. Glue

Pick the best fit for each finger. Apply a thin layer of glue to the press-on.

4. Press

Align at the cuticle and press firmly from cuticle to tip. Hold 10 to 15 seconds.

5. Shape

File the edges to your preferred length and shape.

How to remove

Never pull or pry a press-on off. Peeling takes layers of your natural nail with it. If a set resists, it needs more soaking time, not more force.

1. Soften

A remover is not included in your kit. Use an acetone-based nail polish remover according to its label. Keep acetone away from heat and flame.

2. Loosen

Gently work the edges with the cuticle stick. Do not force.

3. Lift

Ease the press-on off once the adhesive has released.

4. Clean up

Remove any leftover glue with a prep pad or the buffer.

5. Care

Wash your hands, apply cuticle oil, and store the set for reuse.

Reusing a set

Sets can be worn again when they are removed gently and stored in their display box. How many wears you get depends on how carefully the set comes off.

Safety

Nail glue contains ethyl cyanoacrylate and bonds skin and eyes in seconds. Full warnings, precautions, and first aid are printed on your packaging and listed on our Ingredients & Safety page.
